Newsom Don't Surf is more than a surf-inspired brand — it's a statement. Founded by locals who live for salty air, early swells, and cold beers on the sand, we're here to keep California's surf culture unfiltered and unapologetically bold.

Our name? A jab, a joke, a little protest — call it what you will. Let's just say we're not convinced our Governor could paddle out if his life depended on it. So we threw it on a shirt... and then some. One simple observation: the Governor of California has been surfing on the public's goodwill for years — but has he ever actually been in the water?

We thought that was funny. So we made a t-shirt. Then another. Then a hoodie. Then some board shorts — for people who actually surf.
